Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Courses now underway in Europe; US courses begin 19 July

Teacher Training Courses in the Transcendental Meditation Programme are now underway in Holland and Switzerland. Another course will start in the United States in Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, on 19 July.
A Teacher Training Course for ladies, in progress in Seelisberg, Switzerland, began on 15 May with 10 participants from Australia, Germany, Hamsa (Hungary), and the United Kingdom. The course will finish in October.
Also currently in progress, from 2 June until 20 October, is a course for men with 11 participants from Australia, Belgium, Croatia, Finland, India, Israel, Italy, New Zealand and the UK. These participants in MERU, Holland are feeling very fortunate to be receiving this knowledge and training in the house where Maharishi Mahesh Yogi resided for many years. Maharishi's residence was designed and built according to Vastu principles of Vedic Architecture, Maharishi Sthapatya Veda.
Reporting recently* about these international Teacher Training Courses, Dr Peter Swan, Minister of Communication for the Global Country of World Peace and host of Maharishi's Global Family Chat, said that in the United States, courses for men and ladies will begin on 19 July in Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, for people from the United States and Canada.
He encouraged those interested in becoming Teachers of Transcendental Meditation to apply for this course, since it will be held in close proximity to one of the most powerful coherence-creating groups in the world, the Invincible America Assembly. The Assembly also includes a large group of Maharishi Vedic Pandits, as well as groups of the Mother Divine Programme and the Maharishi Purusha Programme.
Dr Swan quoted comments from Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, in which Dr Morris gave a historical perspective on why Maharishi Mahesh Yogi first began training teachers of the technique in the early 1960s.
Dr Morris also emphasized that 'there is a great need of the time for Teachers of Transcendental Meditation, particularly in Consciousness-Based Education,' and that 'new teachers are the hope of their nation, the upcoming beacon light of Total Knowledge for their nation.'
