Maharishi Gandharva Veda music concerts to be featured in global celebrations in MERU, Holland - July 2010

Events and highlights of the Guru Purnima* 2010 celebrations in MERU, Holland this July were recently announced, including a special series of Maharishi Gandharva Veda music concerts.

Speaking on Maharishi Global Family Chat,*** Br Girish Momaya, Chief Director of the International Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in MERU, presented an update on the latest plans for the beautiful annual Guru Purnima celebrations.

A major highlight will be two evenings of live Maharishi Gandharva Veda concerts—the first Maharishi Gandharva Veda Festival for World Peace—featuring renowned artists from India, to take place 24 and 25 July. Performances will be in a spectacular setting, including a floating stage in a pond between fountains with a backdrop of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's residence and garden, decorated in colored lights.

A schedule of assemblies for the Guru Purnima celebration is as follows:
∙ Guru Purnima Day: 25 July 2010
∙ Weekend Assembly: 24-25 July
∙ One-week Assembly: 23-30 July
