Number of people learning Transcendental Meditation rises 100 per cent in Verona and San Marino, Italy

The number of people learning the Transcendental Meditation Programme in Verona and San Marino, Italy dramatically increased during 2009. A new course in Maharishi Ayur-Veda health care has also begun for medical doctors in the area.

There has been a 100 per cent increase in people learning Transcendental Meditation in the two cities, said Raja Ior Guglielmi, Raja of Invincible Verona and San Marino for the Global Country of World Peace.*

The course in Maharishi Ayur-Veda—the world's oldest and most complete natural system of health care—in San Marino and Verona has already attracted much interest, continued Raja Ior. It will be offered in stages, he said, the first step being an introduction to this health care modality. After that, participants will learn Transcendental Meditation.

Raja Ior expects the course to be a great success—especially in light of recent worldwide publicity regarding new research conducted by Dr Robert Schneider and other experts, documenting the highly beneficial effects of Transcendental Meditation, the consciousness approach of Maharishi Ayur-Veda, on cardiovascular disease.

Raja Ior attributes these and other increasing successes in the area, in part, to the support that the Global Country of World Peace organization in San Marino and Verona has been giving to establish the large coherence-creating group of Maharishi Vedic Pandits at the Global Capital of World Peace in the Brahmasthan (geographic centre) of India. 'I can't emphasize enough the value of supporting the Vedic Pandits,' he commented, not only for its value in fully establishing the Global Capital in India, but for the good fortune, success, and progress towards achieving invincibility that this brings for individuals and nations participating in the project.
