Uganda: Transcendental Meditation in education featured at Kampala

A recent assembly in Kampala, the capital of Uganda, introduced many members of the public to the Transcendental Meditation Programme, and highlighted progress in bringing its benefits to students at the country's Maharishi Invincibility School.

The meeting was organized by Raja Graham de Freitas, Raja of Invincible Uganda for the Global Country of World Peace, and Dr Grant Lusimbo, National Director of Uganda for the Global Country. Raja Graham, speaking on Maharishi Global Family Chat,* said that Dr Lusimbo has recently been dedicating most of his time to the establishment of the Maharishi Invincibility School.

This assembly, Raja Graham said, was an opportunity to bring together practitioners of Transcendental Meditation in the nation's capital city, as well as those interested in learning the technique, and update everyone on the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in Uganda and throughout the world.

During the meeting, Raja Graham and Dr Lusimbo gave an introduction to Consciousness-Based Education, including an update on Maharishi Invincibility School, a secondary school for girls.

Raja Graham also recognized the contributions of a gentleman who helped organize the meeting, a long-time practitioner of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, who has been helping to lead the Global Country of World Peace in Kampala.
