In one very special session during the recent global Guru Purnima Assembly in MERU, Holland, the Assembly enjoyed the replay of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's beautiful address on Brahm, Totality, from 5 July 2007.
Video replays of many beautiful, historic addresses by Maharishi were featured during the Assembly. In almost all, he was speaking on the occasion of Guru Purnima in past years.
The occasion of this July 2007 address, however, was a celebration in honour of Raja Peter Warburton, Raja of Invincible Great Britain. Maharishi's address followed the first presentation, by Raja Peter, of the final version of the Total Knowledge chart, on which Maharishi had worked with him for more than three years.
Before the video replay on 5 July 2009, during Maharishi's Global Family Chat, Dr Peter Swan, Minister of Communication of the Global Country of World Peace, displayed this chart for the Assembly. Also known as the 'Damaru chart', it shows 12 areas of activity of the Global Country, and 12 areas of knowledge of the Constitution of Maharishi Central University of every country. In his 2007 address, Maharishi is referring to this Total Knowledge chart, and to Raja Peter's work on it—in Maharishi's words, 'to unfold the reality of Brahm'.
Please see the three-part series of articles published by Global Good News in July 2007, featuring the transcript of Maharishi's address, in which he brought out the profound details of Brahma vidya [knowledge of Brahm] in the context of the birth of a Raja.
Part I features Maharishi's discourse about Gyan shakti [the power of knowledge], Kriya shakti [power of action], and Brahm vidya, in which he went deeply into the nature of unity and diversity, and silence and dynamism.
Part II continues Maharishi's commentary on Veda in terms of memory, sound and gap, the rigidity of the number system, and the flow of language.
Part III begins with Maharishi's question: 'Why is Brahm a goal of all the pursuits of knowledge? Because it has the ability to command total life—Totality.'
Further articles in the coming days will feature comments by leaders of the Global Country of World Peace, on Raja Peter's contributions to developing the Total Knowledge chart.
