Latvian leaders, inspired to bring the highest quality of education and health to their country, expressed sincere interest in recent proposals offered by the Global Country of World Peace.
Raja Michael Dillbeck, Raja (Administrator) of Invincible Latvia for the Global Country of World Peace, visited Riga, the capital city, earlier this summer to promote programmes for all areas of society, established by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Transcendental Meditation Programme.
Said Raja Dillbeck, 'The main reason for our visit was to meet with leaders of society who are in a position to implement projects that will contribute to national invincibility'—referring to the rise of positivity in every area of national life, especially the positive effect of coherence created by a group of people practising the Transcendental Meditation Technique and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying.
In an interview with national media, Raja Dillbeck mentioned plans underway to launch Invincible Latvia University, which will offer programmes for education, health, business, rehabilitation, and world peace.
Raja Dillbeck and Dr Susie Dillbeck—international educators and trustees of Maharishi University of Management, USA—met with government officials, and leaders in education and the private sector. Dr Susie Dillbeck is also President of the International Foundation of Consciousness-Based Education.
At one meeting, the leader of an association of private schools, who is head of a secondary school, reviewed the scientific studies on the benefits of the Transcendental Meditation Programme and Consciousness-Based Education. 'She was clearly dedicated to offering the best education possible to her students,' said Raja Dillbeck. 'Within a few minutes of the presentation, she asked how she could implement this programme.' As a result, a video conference with heads of all the private schools will be held later this summer.
Health ministry officials met with Raja Dillbeck to discuss implementing continuing education for doctors featuring the extensive research on the benefits of Transcendental Meditation for cardiovascular health.
To bring invincibility to the country, Raja Dillbeck said the focus will be on education and the establishment of a Maharishi Peace Colony*. Raja Dillbeck commended Dr Boris Yuriev, National Director of Latvia for the Global Country of World Peace, and his wife Emilia, for organizing the successful meetings and media exposure, as well as for acquiring land for the Peace Colony. Situated in the geographic centre of the nation—called the Brahma-Sthan—it will be an ideal location for a group of Yogic Flyers dedicated to creating coherence and positivity for their country.
*Maharishi Peace Colony: A community founded to help create invincibility for a nation, based on the principles of Maharishi's Vedic Science and its practical applications for living perfection in all areas of life—and in addition to features described above, including a Maharishi Peace Palace, Maharishi School, buildings for group practice of Yogic Flying, and Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health Centre—all built according to Vedic Architecture, Maharishi Sthapatya Veda.
