On 11 July 2009, as part of a series of special presentations following the global Guru Purnima Assembly in MERU, Holland, Raja Ior Guglielmi, Raja of Invincible Sri Lanka for the Global Country of World Peace, reported positive developments within his domain, and trends towards the establishment of national invincibility.
In Sri Lanka, he began, the main focus is on implementing Consciousness-Based Education—as the primary means of creating invincibility. Raja Ior recently discussed with officials the possibility of introducing the Transcendental Meditation Programme in the nation's schools, and resources for pursuing the project are already sufficient. 'Now it is only a matter of finding the schools,' he said.
Also in Sri Lanka, there has been great focus on building initiatives using the principles of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda, Vedic Architecture, also known as Vastu—especially in the wake of the recent tsunami, amidst ongoing government projects to rebuild the nation's villages. They've been discussing building plans with the authorities, and they hope to move forward with the project, said Raja Ior.
Finally, in Sri Lanka, Raja Ior has teamed with the Ministry of Commerce on an agricultural project. 'We plan to utilize the resources of coconut oil and organic pineapples, which are abundant in the nation,' he reported. He added that one of the main focuses of the Global Country of World Peace in Sri Lanka is to encourage financial self-sufficiency, an objective which this initiative in agriculture will support.
