Global Mother Divine Organization: African countries see rise in Total Knowledge-Based programmes for ladies

During the global Guru Purnima Assembly celebrated by the Global Country of World Peace in MERU, Holland from 4-8 July, two leaders of the Global Mother Divine Organization* reported on its activities in countries around the world.

Over the coming days, Global Good News will feature these reports by continent, beginning with Africa.

Algeria
In Algeria, the Global Mother Divine Organization will soon be legally established. A ladies' centre was recently opened in central Algiers. Activities in the areas of the five foundations of Global Mother Divine are being planned, including a Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health Centre Spa for the centre. The Centre also plans to offer Maharishi Jyotish consultations and presentations on Consciousness-Based Education.

Burkina Faso
The first-ever introductory lecture on Transcendental Meditation took place in the capital city of Ouagadougou, attended by 54 people, almost all of whom are enthusiastic to learn Transcendental Meditation.

Cameroon
A student has received short courses organized by the Global Mother Divine Organization to bring the knowledge of invincibility to the country.

Mali
The Mother Divine Director* has recently started activities in Mali by inspiring a Malian student to learn Transcendental Meditation in Ivory Coast. This very intelligent student is now organizing to invite a man and a lady Teacher of Transcendental Meditation from a neighboring country to come to Mali to give lectures and personal instruction in the technique.

Mauritius
Ladies enjoyed a one-day course during a recent nine-day Vedic celebration in the spring. Letters have been sent to the mayors of the three largest towns in Mauritius; contacts are continuing to be made to mayors and to introduce Consciousness-Based Education to headmasters of secondary schools.

South Africa
In South Africa, the Global Mother Divine Organization will soon be fully established: the National Board has been appointed with ladies from centres in the four major cities.

Togo enjoyed the recent graduation of a lady Teacher of Transcendental Meditation, who plans for a Maharishi Spa and Maharishi Invincibility Schools and Colleges to raise Togo towards invincibility.
