Expansion of Maharishi's programmes in Bulgaria throughout the past year

This past year, Bulgaria has hosted Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Courses for participants from many countries around the world, and is continuing to expand the programmes offered at its beautiful Maharishi Invincibility Centre in Sofia. Plans are also progressing for Bulgaria to create a home for a permanent professional peace-creating group of Yogic Flyers.

Dr Donka Hodjeva, Founder of Invincibility and 'Mother of Bulgaria', has been a great leader in offering Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes in her country for many years, said Raja Peter Warburton, Raja of Invincible Bulgaria for the Global Country of World Peace. Her one-pointed focus has resulted in the beautiful achievements of the past year, he said.

She organized the Teacher Training Courses in the centre of the country—beginning with courses for participants from Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East; and now a course is currently in progress for Russian-speaking countries. On 6 August another will begin with participants from diverse regions including the United States, India, Europe, and the Middle East.

The Maharishi Invincibility Centre in Sofia, which opened two years ago, is a beautiful embassy-like building, where practitioners of the Transcendental Meditation Programme and Yogic Flying regularly come for group practice of these peace-creating technologies, Raja Peter continued. 'Maharishi took it as the Global Financial Capital of Bulgaria,' he said.

This past year the Centre has offered Advanced Techniques of Transcendental Meditation, Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme Refresher Courses, and Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology. Under Dr Hodjeva's leadership, more programmes may potentially become available including Maharishi Ayur-Veda treatments and products, Maharishi Jyotish and Yagya programmes, and Maharishi Sthapatya Veda, Raja Peter said.

She is also instrumental in the success of an organic agriculture project in the country. These projects around the world support invincibility and world peace in many ways, especially by supporting the Vedic Pandits of India, Raja Peter said.

Suitable land—possibly by the seaside—is also being sought for members of the Maharishi Purusha Programme*, to offer an ideal home to this professional peace-creating group. Dr Hodjeva expressed what a great good fortune and privilege it is to have Purusha planning to be in Bulgaria.
