Recently a celebration was held to honour the many great leaders who helped create invincibility for Trinidad—which was declared by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, on 20 May 2007.
Raja Graham de Freitas, Raja of Invincible Trinidad and Tobago for the Global Country of World Peace, said Trinidad achieved invincibility under the guidance of Raja Jose Luis Alvarez, Raja of Latin America, and Dr David Lee Sheng Tin, National Director of Trinidad and Tobago for the Global Country.
Also instrumental were four Vedic Pandits associated with the SWAHA College and the SWAHA Secondary School—whose students, in the spring of 2007*, first created the influence of coherence and national invincibility through their group practice of Yogic Flying.
At the celebration, the school's founder, Pandit Hari Persad, and his three sons—Pandit Balram Persad, principal of the school; Pandit Dr Prakash Persad; and Pandit Parmanand Persad were honoured with gold medallions—as Maharishi had requested.
In addition, prominent members of society have contributed to peace and progress in Trinidad through Maharishi's programmes. Those honoured include a well-known communication expert and author, a former judge of the High Court, and a renowned Indian scholar who has helped offer Maharishi's programmes in Indian communities throughout the world. Since the early 1980s their dedication has given tremendous support to initiatives in the nation.
Raja Graham congratulated everyone for their past achievements, and for all that is continuing to be done to maintain and expand the influence of invincibility—all good to everyone—in Trinidad and Tobago.
