Projects for the construction of buildings and Maharishi Peace Colonies* according to the principles Maharishi Vedic Architecture are underway in several countries, including Russia, Ukraine, and France.
Speaking 26 May 2009, Wojtek Skalski, a Maharishi Sthapatya Veda consultant and member of the managing board of the Global Financial Capital of Finland, reported that construction of a Peace Colony of 300 houses is currently underway in Russia. Similar Peace Colony projects for other cities in Russia and Ukraine are in the planning stages.
In conjunction with Dr Dominique Lemoine, National Director of France for the Global Country of World Peace, Mr Skalski is also working on a Peace Colony in the Brahma-Sthan (auspicious geographic centre) of France.
Maharishi Peace Palaces are currently being built in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and Austria, continued Mr Skalski. Also, plans are underway for a Maharishi Ayur-Veda College and Health Centre in Hamsa (Hungary), as well as a new Maharishi Vedic Health Centre in the Netherlands.
In closing, Dr Skalski added that there are countless individual Vastu homes being built in Europe and Asia.
* Maharishi Peace Colony: A community founded to help create invincibility for a nation, based on the principles of Maharishi's Vedic Science and its practical applications for living perfection in all areas of life—and in addition to features described above, including a Maharishi Peace Palace, Maharishi School, and Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health Centre—all built according to Vedic Architecture, Maharishi Sthapatya Veda.
