Heather Hartnett studied Business Administration, Computer Graphics, and Government at Maharishi University of Management, Fairfield, Iowa, USA, receiving her MBA in 2005. Last summer, Ms Hartnett became Director of Marketing and Communication at the David Lynch Foundation, established by the renowned filmmaker and philanthropist. Heather's profile states, 'Her ultimate professional goal is to better mankind by bringing something new and unique to the Internet that brings awareness of creativity and inner happiness.'
Ms Hartnett represents the next generation of leaders. She is a founding member of I am Universal, a new organization which offers opportunities for young adults who wish to create prosperity, perfect health, enlightenment, and invincibility for every nation. Please see Part I.
Through IamU, young adults further their education and careers, gain professional mentorship and leadership training, while transforming the world through programmes offered by the Global Country of World Peace, the organization established by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Transcendental Meditation Programme (TM).
The David Lynch Foundation funds and implements stress reducing programmes that improve creativity, brain functioning, and academic performance. In her work at the Foundation, Heather played a major role in the historic 4 April benefit concert in New York, Change Begins Within—featuring Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and other celebrities—which raised funds to teach one million at-risk children to meditate, helping them combat stress and violence in their lives. (See concert article.)
Global Good News will feature the continuation of this article tomorrow, in which Ms Hartnett describes the launch of DLF.TV and other exciting projects she is working on at the David Lynch Foundation.
