New youth group IamU offers internships, mentorship, and leadership training to create Heaven on Earth

A new international organization, named IamU, recently launched to offer exciting opportunities for young adults who wish to use their talents and interests to transform the world. Participants gain leadership experience while assisting with the implementation of the programmes of the Global Country of World Peace, the organization established by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Transcendental Meditation Technique.

Maharishi created practical programmes for every area of life, offered through the Global Country of World Peace, to create prosperity, perfect health, enlightenment, and invincibility for every nation. Young adults can further their education and careers, gain professional mentorship and leadership training—all while helping fulfil Maharishi's goals to create an ideal world.

One of the new group's founders, a second-year MBA student at Maharishi University of Management, said, 'We formed this group about five months ago, feeling it's time to cultivate the next generation of leaders, to connect and bond, and to bring Maharishi's knowledge to the youth. IamU has many exciting opportunities for young people to grow personally, and rise to levels of responsibility to profoundly impact the world.'

Lila-Maria Hartmann, the chief organizer of IamU, said, 'There are so many different projects. Wherever you are, whatever you like to do, there's always something to do! Most of all, whatever makes you happy. That's why we're doing this. It's the greatest bliss, and brings the greatest fulfilment.'

Currently, interns are gaining valuable experience at the Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture project in Ukraine, developing sustainable architecture in Holland, teaching the Transcendental Meditation Programme at inner-city schools in South America and at universities in New Zealand, visiting and collaborating with students at the Maharishi Invincibility Institute in South Africa, and working with the David Lynch Foundation's social networking/media programmes. All the positions involve practical training, expert mentorship, as well as a focus on developing the full potential of the young person's life.

Currently on YouTube and Facebook, IamU is developing its website to post internships and jobs, and to connect the global community of young adults committed to creating Heaven on Earth.
