US: Thirteen graduate from Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Course

Thirteen new Teachers of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's Transcendental Meditation Programme recently graduated from a Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Course for men held over the past few months in the United States. A course for ladies was held concurrently in Iowa, USA.

The men's course was led by two members of the Maharishi Purusha Programme*, and participants also benefited from the expertise of several other long-time Teachers of Transcendental Meditation who helped lead the course.

Dr Otto Odermatt, the final weeks' administrator, said it was a joy to lead this course, which created these 'strong, bright lighthouses of pure knowledge to stabilize invincibility for the United States and Canada'.

Dr Odermatt welcomed the 13 new Transcendental Meditation Teachers, saying now they 'will begin to ''whisper infinity''** in their home areas'.

*Purusha: Maharishi has explained that Purusha means the Self, the quality of infinite silence of the Unified Field of Natural Law. Maharishi designed the Maharishi Purusha Programme for men who wish to dedicate themselves fulltime to the most rapid pace of evolution and creating world peace, through extended group practice of the Transcendental Meditation-Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, and through their administration through silence, fulfilling the goals of the Global Country of World Peace in 192 countries of the world.

** 'Whisper infinity': This is a beautiful expression used by Maharishi to describe the process of teaching Transcendental Meditation, in which the teacher gives the new student the personal instruction and guidance for experiencing the unbounded field of Transcendental Consciousness.
