Interest in the Transcendental Meditation Technique is growing in Holland. The extensive scientific research on its benefits for health, education, and business has been inspiring many people recently to attend introductory lectures and learn the technique.
Dr Paul Gelderloos, National Director of Holland for the Global Country of World Peace, said that there has been a focus recently to make information about Transcendental Meditation widely available.
Editorials and advertisements with information about the extensive scientific research on the programme, as well as where to find more information on the Internet, have appeared in many local newspapers. A beautiful new website is also under construction, Dr Gelderloos said.
The number of people attending introductory presentations about Transcendental Meditation has increased 20-fold, and a large percentage are starting the programme, he said.
People near MERU, Holland have also recently had the opportunity to come and tour the campus of the International Capital of the Global Country of World Peace, hear about Maharishi's programmes, and learn more about future Maharishi Sthapatya Veda building plans for an ideal campus.
After the tour, they have the option to hear more about Transcendental Meditation. Raja Willem's* son, one of the new young Teachers of Transcendental Meditation in Holland, gives these introductory lectures, Dr Gelderloos said.
*Raja Willem Meijles is the Raja of Invincible Holland for the Global Country of World Peace.
