Mongolia to have new Teachers of Transcendental Meditation

Yogic Flyers in Mongolia are actively organizing Maharishi's programmes in the country, and five people are planning to attend an upcoming Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Course.

There are currently no Transcendental Meditation Teachers in Mongolia. The National Director of Mongolia for the Global Country of World Peace is a Yogic Flyer, and he sent a report of recent activity in his country, said Raja Tom Stanley, Raja of Invincible Mongolia for the Global Country of World Peace, on 12 February.

The report highlighted the local celebration of the global inauguration of Maharishi's Second Year of Invincibility - Global Raam Raj, 12 January 2009. On this day a flag-raising ceremony was held at the site of Mongolia's Tower of Invincibility.

Celebrations also included many presentations about Maharishi's programmes. These presentations—which were warmly received by over 100 participants—covered such topics as the Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, Consciousness-Based Education, Maharishi's Vedic Science and Technology, and the initiatives and achievements of both the Mongolian Maharishi Invincibility Centre, and the Global Country of World Peace worldwide.

At the end of the celebration, 12 people said they wanted to learn Transcendental Meditation. A Transcendental Meditation Teacher from Ukraine has taught nearly every practitioner of Transcendental Meditation in Mongolia, Raja Stanley said, so it will be wonderful to have people from Mongolia attend the upcoming Russian-speaking Teacher Training Course.
