India: Ceremonies in Madhya Pradesh inaugurate Maharishi's Second Year of Invincibility on 12 January 2009: Dr Girish Varma

During the global inauguration of Maharishi's Second Year of Invincibility—Global Raam Raj on 12 January 2009, a special highlight of the afternoon session in MERU, Holland was an address by Dr Girish Varma, esteemed National Director of India for the Global Country of World Peace. Dr Varma addressed the gathering via conference call from Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, India, where grand inaugural ceremonies of 12 January had been held earlier in the day.

The chief guest on the occasion was Raja Harris Kaplan, Raja of Invincible India for the Global Country of World Peace, who participated in the inaugural ceremonies and also spoke to the gathering in MERU from Bhopal.

Dr Varma also serves as Director General of the Global Capital of Raam Raj* in the Brahma-Sthan (centre) of India, established by his Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, on 12 January last year; and Chancellor of 160 schools and universities in India.

On 12 January 2009, Dr Varma inaugurated exhibitions in Bhopal representing all branches of the educational system founded by Maharishi in India, including Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University, Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence, Maharishi Institute of Management, as well as Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools for children.

Exhibits filled forty rooms, displaying principles of Maharishi's Vedic Science and excerpts from the richly detailed charts and graphics contained in the book Human Physiology: Expression of Veda and Vedic Literature, by Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace. Other exhibits featured Sanskrit and language studies, as well as arts and crafts.

A special guest among the many dignitaries in attendance in Bhopal was Minister of Technical Higher Education from the government of India.

Dr Varma also published the annual Dhyan Magazine dedicated to Maharishi's achievements and the organization's accomplishments of the past year.
