The year 2008 saw significant expansion of construction according to Maharishi Vedic Architecture throughout the world—including plans for eight new Maharishi Towers of Invincibility, a Purusha* capital to be built in Russia, and continuing construction at the Global Capital of Raam Raj at the Brahma-Sthan (geographical centre) of India.

Summarizing the achievements of the past year on 8 January 2009, Dr Eike Hartmann, Minister of Architecture for the Global Country of World Peace, said that the achievements are of two types: construction initiatives that are just beginning, and those that have been completed.

Maharishi Towers of Invincibility
Most important of all these achievements are the plans underway for eight Maharishi Towers of Invincibility around the world, Dr Hartmann said—in Venezuela, Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Holland, Turkey, Russia, and India.

We are continuing to plan a great public park in Holland, Dr Hartmann said, and that will be the location of the Tower of Invincibility for the nation.

A Mayor in Turkey has proposed that the Tower of Invincibility overlook a beautiful park in his city.

In Russia, the Tower of Invincibility will also include an Invincibility School for at least 1,000 students.

Russia
There are also plans for a Purusha* capital with at least 100 rooms situated on auspicious land by the side of a beautiful lake.

India
Construction is continuing at the Global Capital of Raam Raj in the Brahma-Sthan of India. A beautiful residence has been completed for the Purusha* Rajas of the Global Country of World Peace, Dr Hartmann said.

*Purusha: Maharishi has explained that Purusha means the Self, the quality of infinite silence of the Unified Field of Natural Law. Maharishi designed the Maharishi Purusha Programme for men who wish to dedicate themselves fulltime to the most rapid pace of evolution possible and creating world peace, through extended group practice of the Transcendental Meditation-Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, fulfilling the goals of the Global Country of World Peace in 192 countries of the world.

Global Good News will feature the continuation of this news in the coming days, including more Vedic Architecture initiatives in India, Holland, and Serbia.

Global Good News has also featured the many new Vedic Architecture initiatives of 2008 in the United States.
