Establishing a Maharishi Peace Palace and Maharishi Peace Colonies in Hawaii, USA

Dr Jon Lipman, Director of Vedic Architecture for Invincible America, spoke on a recent Maharishi Global Family Chat about his visit to Hawaii last month for the inauguration of a new Maharishi Invincibility Center for the Transcendental Meditation Programme in Honolulu. The Center has been established by Dr Stuart and Dr Mokihana Zimmerman, Executive Directors of the State of Hawaii for Invincible America.

After highlighting a new initiative to introduce Consciousness-Based Education in Hawaii, which was featured during the inaugural celebration for the new Center, Dr Lipman spoke further about another purpose for his visit—to assess sites for a Maharishi Peace Palace and Vastu community, built according to Maharishi Sthapatya Veda , Vedic Architecture, which brings the individual into harmony with Natural Law. A potential site has been identified, and the plan is to build a condominium complex, using the lower level for teaching Maharishi's programmes and the upper levels for residential units, 'for those who would like to live in the perfect Vastu.'

In a video excerpt from the celebration, Dr Stuart Zimmerman described his vision for Maharishi Peace Colonies* in Hawaii. 'Several tracts of land are available which are already zoned for 1,000-2,000 multi-family residential units, with land for schools, parks, and commercial buildings.' He emphasized that the economic climate is excellent for buyers. 'It's the time to strike, while the iron is hot.

'Why not have a Vastu community where the weather is perfect, the flowers are always blooming, and there is the beautiful Hawaiian culture,' Dr Zimmerman said.

'Hawaii is particularly attractive for Vastu development,' Dr Lipman agreed. 'Even the most luxurious homes don't have artificial heating and cooling, as the temperature is always mid-to-low 20's Celsius (70 degrees F). We've identified several areas which meet the qualifications for a Peace Colony.'

Dr Lipman commended the Zimmermans, the Hawaiian Teachers and practitioners of Transcendental Meditation, and the local Yogic Flyers, for their intent to build a Maharishi Peace Colony. 'Wherever there is a strong community who desires to live in perfect Vastu, we will work with you to create a Peace Colony or Peace Palace to meet your needs.'
