Reporting on Maharishi Global Family Chat on 3 September, Colonel Gunther Chasse spoke about the Days of Total Knowledge held in Erfurt, Germany, on Maharishi's programmes for Invincible Defence, Consciousness-Based Education, and Maharishi Ayur-Veda.
Colonel Chasse, Minister of Defence of Invincible Germany for the Global Country of World Peace, spoke about the Days of Total Knowledge organized by one Teacher of Transcendental Meditation in the Brahma-Sthan [auspicious central point of the country] of Germany. 'With these monthly Days of Total Knowledge, she contributes to coherence and invincible defence in the central point of Germany,' Colonel Chasse said. At the same time she offers Maharishi's knowledge to the public.
Colonel Chasse reported that a third Erfurt Day of Total Knowledge was recently held with special emphasis on perfect health through Maharishi Ayur-Veda. Individuals practising the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme and Transcendental Meditation Teachers from all directions in Germany came and enjoyed the group practice of Transcendental Meditation, Yogic Flying, and the deepening of their knowledge and understanding of Maharishi's Vedic Science.
About 50 visitors, including local medical doctors, attended presentations by Maharishi Ayur-Veda doctors and health practitioners. One Transcendental Meditation Teacher spoke about the basic principles of Maharishi Ayur-Veda.
Another doctor and Teacher, who has written many books about Maharishi Ayur-Veda, presented the knowledge of Ayurvedic treatments for respiratory diseases. There was also a special presentation for ladies about natural cosmetics.
'The visitors were very impressed and thrilled by the presentation of our Ayur-Veda experts,' said Colonel Chasse. 'Several of the local doctors have made appointments to learn more about Transcendental Meditation and Maharishi Ayur-Veda. Another highlight was the DVD presentation by Raja John Hagelin entitled ''Preventing disease, promoting health, and reducing costs.'' '
The Erfurt Days of Total Knowledge are already a monthly tradition. The first day was on Consciousness-Based Education with a presentation by the National Director of Education for the Global Country of World Peace in Germany and by several German educators.
The subjects presented by different speakers included: 'The Foundation of a Maharishi Invincibility School in Erfurt'; 'To be able to know anything, to do anything, and to achieve anything'; 'The concept of Maharishi Invincibility School'; and finally, 'The extraordinary successes of Maharishi Invincibility Schools and Universities around the world'. Again the highlight of the presentation was the DVD presentation of Raja John Hagelin on 'Developing the total brain and optimizing academic outcomes: A Unified Field-based approach to education.'
The theme of the second Erfurt Day of Total Knowledge was culture and religion, with presentations by the National Director of Culture and Religion for the Global Country of World Peace in Germany. A great attraction for the visitors was a classical German music concert given by a famous German pianist who is also a Transcendental Meditation Teacher. This was an excellent opportunity to present Raja Hagelin's DVD talk on culture and religion.
Colonel Chasse congratulated the Teacher organizing the Erfurt Days of Knowledge, which he said 'combine so perfectly the creation of coherence in the Brahma-Sthan area of Germany [through the group practice of Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying by attendees] and the presentation of Maharishi's knowledge in different areas of life.'
