27 June 2008
Speaking 21 June 2008 on Maharishi Global Family Chat, Raja Michael Dilbeck, Raja of Invincible France for the Global Country of World Peace, reported plans for a new Maharishi Peace Colony* in the Brahma-Sthan of his domain.
During a recent World Peace Assembly of Yogic Flyers in France, participants began planning for the establishment of a permanent group of 800 Yogic Flyers, the number needed to achieve national invincibility. As part of this project, reported Raja Dillbeck, the Global Country of World Peace in France intends to develop a series of large buildings and apartments in the nine-hectare Brahma-Sthan, the auspicious central area, of the country. There are plans to acquire nearby plots of land as well, on which to build additional homes for those wanting to live in the Maharishi Peace Colony.
'The idea for this community,' continued Raja Dillbeck, 'was for people to invest in the project as a whole, and, by virtue of this, become owners of an apartment or studio.' Others, he added, could rent apartments, either from the owners or directly from the Global Country of World Peace organization. 'In this way,' he said, 'everyone would have a chance to contribute to the creation of this facility.'
During the World Peace Assembly, many potential investors came forward, expressing their desire to share ownership of the project. 'To date,' said Raja Dilbeck, '30 different people have shown interest.' Owning an apartment or studio, he said, would be equivalent to an investment of 1.5 million Euros, an amount sufficient for construction of one building and the accompanying bungalows for Yogic Flying activities. 'The plan is to start with sufficient funds for the first two buildings,' said Raja Dilbeck. 'This will allow the infrastructure costs to be less for each person.' He added that 25 people have signed up to rent apartments for a period of time, and 6 have plans to build houses nearby.
'The focus now is on attracting more investors, so construction can begin on the first two buildings,' said Raja Dillbeck. 'National Director of France Dominique Lemoine has done a wonderful job maintaining focus on this project, in addition to his other initiatives in bringing invincibility to France.'
*Maharishi Peace Colony: A community founded to help create invincibility for a nation, based on the principles of Maharishi's Vedic Science and its practical applications for living perfection in all areas of life—featuring a Maharishi Peace Palace, Maharishi School, Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health Centre, homes, and buildings for group practice of Yogic Flying—all built according to Vedic Architecture, Maharishi Sthapatya Veda.
