Success of Maharishi Vedic Architecture initiatives in Holland
by Global Good News staff writer

27 June 2008
Dr Paul Gelderloos, National Director of Invincible Holland for the Global Country of World Peace, recently reported on the successful search for buildings and building sites in Amsterdam that meet the requirements of Maharishi Vedic Architecture.
Speaking on the Maharishi Global Family Chat, Dr Gelderloos said that since Holland became Invincible over two years ago 'everything is becoming more comfortable, effortless'. Initiatives are coming to fruition more easily. He noted that in the last 30 years he had looked at more than 1,000 buildings and had found that buildings meeting the requirements of Maharishi Vedic Architecture seemed to be non-existent. However, just recently, two such buildings came to his attention within two days.
Both are ideally located in the centre of Amsterdam and are perfect for the activities of the Global Country of World Peace there. The goal, Dr Gelderloos said, was always to be where the population is—to be in Amsterdam. One of the buildings is 500 square metres and has 16 rooms. The two buildings stand side by side and offer what 'may well be one of the most beautiful views of Amsterdam,' Dr Gelderloos said. There is also ample parking available nearby and they are not far from the train station.
At the same time, an ideal site for construction of a Maharishi Sthapatya Veda building was also discovered in Amsterdam, Dr Gelderloos said, adding that in the past, 'every time that we looked [for a site] in Amsterdam, it was very difficult to find perfection.'
