Speaking recently on Maharishi Global Family Chat, Dr Mario Orsatti, National Director of Communication for the Global Country of World Peace in the United States, reported on a successful course in the Transcendental Meditation Technique, which took place during the third annual David Lynch Weekend at Maharishi University of Management (M.U.M.) in Fairfield, Iowa, USA.
'You couldn't have designed a more ideal course for the Transcendental Meditation Technique,' commented Dr Orsatti. Even before attending the introductory lectures for the course, the non-meditating students were greeted by students from Maharishi University of Management. 'In this way,' said Dr Orsatti, 'the course participants witnessed how M.U.M. students live the value of the Transcendental Meditation Technique, embodying that bliss and knowledge.'
Dr Orsatti went on to say that the course itself was beautifully organized by the M.U.M. staff, so that everything seemed effortless for teachers and students. The course took place in a building constructed according to the principles of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda, which helped the students to have ideal experiences during their instruction. Also, commented Dr Orsatti, these students had the unique opportunity to learn Transcendental Meditation during the David Lynch Weekend, where directly after course meetings they could listen to Raja Dr John Hagelin's* speech, 'Quantum Mechanics, Consciousness, and Spirituality', among other featured lectures.
During the meeting following instruction in the technique, students were already experiencing profound bliss, expansion, and greater freedom. 'It wasn't just one or two of the students, as is usually the case during these courses' noted Dr Orsatti, 'but all of them were having new and extraordinary experiences.' By the time the third meeting came around, said Dr Orsatti, there was no doubt in each student's mind that Cosmic Consciousness** would result easily from daily practice of the Transcendental Meditation Technique.
Dr Orsatti quoted several individual student experiences from the course, one of which was: 'My life has already transformed. I just don't know what will happen in the next weeks and months that will be better than this.'
Another student, reported Dr Orsatti, said, 'It's amazing that the world I'm living in now is the same world as it was before [I learned the Transcendental Meditation Technique]. It's a world that I didn't enjoy before, but in that same world I must now be very different, since I look forward to each day.'
It is a very profound effect that practitioners of Transcendental Meditation all over the world are feeling, commented Dr Orsatti. 'This course will mean a great deal to our university, since prospective students now have the experience of Consciousness-Based Education on its most profound level—the level of the Transcendent.' He added that this development is especially important since Maharishi University of Management, where thousands of Yogic Flyers gather each day, provides the foundation for Invincibility in America.
* Dr Hagelin is a world-renowned quantum physicist, Raja (Administrator) of Invincible America, and Minister of Science and Technology of the Global Country of World Peace.
** Cosmic Consciousness is the fifth state of consciousness after waking, dreaming, sleeping, and Transcendental Consciousness. It is characterized by the continuous, permanent experience of Transcendental Consciousness (which is experienced during the Transcendental Meditation Technique), even during the first three states.
