Maharishi's Programmes expanding in Greece

Speaking recently on Maharishi Global Family Chat, broadcast around the world via satellite and over the internet on Channel 3 of the Maharishi Channel, Raja Ior reported progress in the establishment of Maharishi's programmes in Greece, one of the countries in his domain.

Raja Ior reported that the Global Country of World Peace has nearly finalized the purchase of land for the building of a Maharishi Peace Palace and a Tower of Invincibility in Athens. In addition, there are now four teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Technique in Greece, whereas before there was only one.

The Raja was also pleased to report that he will soon begin importing Maharishi Ayur-Veda health products to Greece. He is especially happy at this development since he is a medical doctor, and has already gained experience overseeing the growth of Maharishi Ayur-Veda in Italy. Raja Ior added that he will be holding a weekend-long conference in Athens, in order to spread knowledge of Maharishi's Vedic Approach to Health.

As a side project, Raja Ior said that he is currently working with Dr Demetri Kanellakos, a member of the Global Country of World Peace, to publish a book comparing ancient Greek philosophy to Maharishi Vedic Science. He commented that 'the philosophy of Plato, Aristotle, and Socrates corresponds with ancient Vedic principles, although these Greek thinkers may have expressed themselves in different words.'

'We are very pleased that the Global Country of World Peace is beginning to be self-sufficient in Greece, with the new Peace Palace underway and the development of Maharishi Ayur-Veda health products and treatments,' concluded Raja Ior. 'We expect that Maharishi's programmes will spread quickly throughout the nation.'
