News Post India Translate This Article
3 February 2008
On 3 February 2008 News Post India reported:
Towers of Invincibility will stand in 192 countries as monuments of perpetual peace and invincibility in each nation.
It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring
fulfilment to the field of world peace.
On 12 January 2008, a flag-raising ceremony to inaugurate the Maharishi Tower of Invincibility for Britain was held in Rendlesham, Suffolk. The flag-raising ceremony was part of a global initiative, with Towers of Invincibility inaugurated in more than 100 countries that day, News Post India reported.
Peter Warburton, Chief Administrator for Maharishi's organization in Britain, was quoted as saying, 'This Maharishi Tower of Invincibility will stand as a perpetual memorial to the 50 years of Maharishi's global achievements in creating an unshakeable foundation for invincibility for the world.'
He also stated that inspiration for the towers came from the fact that there are 'more than enough experts trained in Maharishi's peace-creating technologies of consciousness to raise the entire world to invincibility'.
The News Post India reported, 'The towers will be connected to the 48 centres of Total Knowledge—Brahmananda Saraswati Nagars—that are now under construction in India . . . .'
Warburton explained that each day Maharishi Vedic Pandits will practise 'Maharishi's technologies of consciousness, including Transcendental Meditation, Yogic Flying, and Yagyas', to create coherence and harmony in world consciousness.
