On the evening of the day of Maharishi's inauguration of the Year of Invincibility - Global Raam Raj, on 12 January 2008, to the sound of Scottish bagpipers and fireworks in the magnificent gardens of MERU, Holland, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, founded the World Capital of Raam Raj located in the Brahmasthan - geographic centre - of India.

Maharishi said:

'In the long millennium history of the world, today was a day when the Capital of Raam Raj was established. Capital of Raam Raj will be maintained through Yagyas and through exhibitions, great exhibitions of knowledge, exhibitions of knowledge. Exhibitions of knowledge, these are the pieces of knowledge that maintain the environment of the Capital, and the Capital will be in the seat of silence of Raja Raam.

Maharishi said that the Capital of Raam Raj will be the seat of Yagya. 'Pandits will begin to display their role. They'll be performing the Ati-Rudrabhishek*. . . . ' [which started to be performed on 1 January daily in threel locations throughout India].

'Phone to them to start the phenomenon of the Capital of Raam Raj, Capital of Raam Raj. Invincible Raja of America, announce the Capital of Raam Raj today that is the silent desire of Raja Raam, that Raja Raam has a place from where Raja Raam, the administration of Brahm, will be issued and continue to bless the world all the time. Announce it. This is something substantial to announce and substantial to start. . . . Give adorations on my behalf to all our Rajas, all the Rajas, all the Rajas. They'll function from here. Start functioning from the Capital of Raja Raam. Raam Brahm paramarath rupa. Raam Raj dukh kahu na vyapa.' **

We have been united in global celebration, said Dr John Hagelin, Raja [Administrator] of Invincible America for the Global Country of World Peace, celebrating invincibility for the world on a permanent basis, through, for example, the Brahmanand Saraswati Trust, established to perpetuate invincibility for all generations. Now, Dr Hagelin said, it is a joy to share the news of the extraordinary crowning achievement of this day—the establishment of the Capital of Raam Raj in the Brahmasthan of India.

The Capital of Raam Raj will be the silent seat of administration of Maharaja Nader Raam, established in the geographic centre point of Veda Bhumi Bharat—India, the land of the Veda, Dr Hagelin said.

This is a very natural seat of administration for the world, Dr Hagelin explained, because the Brahmasthan is the silent seat of power for any country, and it is the administration of silence that is the hallmark of the flawless administration of Maharaja Nader Raam whose administration is through silence—the silent administration of Natural Law that governs the vast universe and maintains the universe in perfect order.

Here at the Brahmasthan of India, at the Capital of Raam Raj, will be 16,000 Yogic Flying Vedic Pandits. In addition to performing Yagya and Graha Shanti for the world, Dr Hagelin said, the 16,000 Vedic Pandits—more than the square root of one per cent of the world's population—will create the Maharishi Effect to sustain the world in accord with Natural Law, always in the evolutionary direction.

Dr Hagelin said that the Vedic Pandits are enlivening the silence in this silent seat of power in Veda Bhumi Bharat, through their daily performance of Ati-Rudrabhishek, stirring the field of silence.

Dr Hagelin said that Maharishi is initiating the Capital of Raam Raj as a functioning capital today, where the performances of Ati-Rudrabhishek began 1 January, with about 1,000 Vedic Pandits enlivening silence.

What an ideal seat of the government of Maharaja Nader Raam, who is the embodiment of silence, who rules through silence using the principles of administration through silence that Maharishi has brought to us and brought to the whole world, Dr Hagelin said.

This will be the silent seat of Maharaja Nader Raam's governance of the world, Dr Hagelin said, surrounded by his Rajas who are also experts in the skill of administration through silence, the administration through Natural Law.

The continuation of Dr Hagelin's talk, including his discussion of the Capital of Raam Raj as a functional capital in two vitally important ways, will be featured in Part II of this article.

*Ati-Rudrabhishek: A Vedic Yagya performance to create world peace. Yagya are ancient precise performances by specially trained Vedic Pandits of India, which create specific life-supporting influences from the field of pure consciousness, the source of Natural Law. Yagya are reverberations of the transcendental reality. They can help avert undesirable circumstances and enhance the success of any undertaking, because they are the performance of total Natural Law, the performance of the Will of God, which is much more powerful than any destructive power that exists in the world.

** Raam is Brahm, Totality, the embodiment of transcendental reality, the ultimate goal of life. The Administration in which no one suffers is hailed as the administration of Raam. (Raam Charit Manasa, Ayodhya Kand, 93.4 and Uttar Kand, 21.1) Copyright © 2008 Global Good News(sm) Service.
