On 13 December 2007 Middle East Foundation for the Science of Creative Intelligence reported:
The Middle East Foundation for the Science of Creative Intelligence in Beirut, Lebanon has announced a 10-day World Peace Assembly to generate a powerful influence of peace, prosperity, and invincibility for the nation through the group practise of Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Technique and its advanced programmes including Yogic Flying.
