Paul Harvey reports on the Invincible America Assembly

On 13 September 2007 ABC Radio Networks reported: The continuing results of the Invincible America Assembly currently taking place in Fairfield and Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA were recently reported by US radio newsman Paul Harvey, considered to be America's voice of the new millennium. The broadcast started with Mr Harvey asking his listeners if they had heard of the Invincible America Assembly* of 1,800 people who get together every day to meditate.

He continued, 'They focus their positive vibes on fewer hurricanes—and we had fewer hurricanes last year. They focus their Transcendental Meditation on the behaviour of ... North Korea—and that political fever subsided.'

Mr Harvey also noted future predictions by Assembly organizers, that when 8,000 meditators get together there will be such a wave of harmony that, according to John Hagelin* [director of the Assembly], 'we will see a virtual elimination of crime, and all major social and political woes.'
