Dr Morris reports on enlightened experiences, Vedic Pandits, and Native American leaders in the heart of Vedic America

Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace and President of Maharishi University of Management (MUM), in Fairfield, Iowa, USA, commented recently on the development of participants' experiences in the Invincible America Assembly; Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's greatest gift to America—the Vedic Pandits; and the results and possibilities of a recent Native American delegation's visit to Maharishi Vedic City.
The enlightened experiences of the Assembly course participants, Dr Morris said, were due to the size of the group, the length of time they were devoting to their daily group practice of the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, and the presence of the Vedic Pandits on the MUM campus and in nearby Maharishi Vedic City.
Dr Morris said that many of the course participants 'have been meditating and practising the TM-Sidhi Programme for many years, enjoying the resulting enrichment of life. Then they came here, and then something happened that never happened before.' With all the variety of experiences of rising higher states of consciousness he has heard, Dr Morris said, 'there is a uniformity of innocence in the way they report their experiences, especially of the field of infinite silence (in their own self-referral consciousness) in terms of infinite dynamism. That bliss is becoming blissful through practice.'
Being in big groups of Yogic Flyers, Dr Morris continued, the first and immediate effect is the rise of experiences of the individual as Brahm, the Totality—that there is nothing other than that Totality. 'Maharishi has poured out to the group that Brahmavidya—that knowledge of Brahm. Everyone thanks Guru Dev* and Maharishi and their fellow Yogic Flyers, whose blending of consciousness leads to these experiences.'
With others, Dr Morris had the opportunity to witness the Vedic Pandits' (peace-creating experts) chanting during their performance of Rudrabhishek—the Vedic invocation of infinite silence. As soon as they began, he said, 'It created an immediate thrill in the atmosphere—such a self-referral level filled with transcendental silence—that reality where the Richas (verses) of the Ved collapse to a point.'
Dr Morris said he feels that the Vedic Pandits 'have really taken upon themselves the responsibility for America—crowning America with invincibility. . . . It was a great feeling afterwards to be able to speak to them and to express the gratitude that America feels, and that it is the greatest gift Maharishi has given us by far—the gift of the Vedic Pandits . . . performing here in the middle of America on this divine, transcendental level. . . . This is the air in which we live now.'
A Native American delegation made up of leaders of many different tribes recently visited and toured Maharishi University of Management, Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment, and Maharishi Vedic City. Dr Morris reported that they 'recognized what we do here'. One of them said this was what their ancestors used to do: 'They would close their eyes and try to find the inner self.' And one wise, elderly lady said to her peers, 'We all have to decide before we leave here, what each of us is going to do when we get back, to implement these programmes for our people—because we can see, from what we have seen here, what it can do.' Dr Morris commented that if these 7,000 traditions all became based in that one language of the Unified Field (total Natural Law), it could create a whole new life for the Native American people, and that 'they, themselves, could be a great force for the enlightenment of the nation.'
