Dr Andrea Gribben, National Leader of Northern Ireland for the Global Country of World Peace, reported that last week they taught the Transcendental Meditation Technique to girls in a Belfast school. Problem children who normally cannot sit still, now sit to meditate 'like angels'; and they report they feel more awake, clear, calm; and more patient and energetic, more relaxed and able to take on anything. The boys in the school will learn the technique in September.

Hearing of this success, members of the country's Department of Education requested a meeting with Dr Gribben and one of the school's teachers who had recently learned Transcendental Meditation. They will now recommend implementing Consciousness-Based Education in other schools.

Plans of the Global Country of World Peace in Ireland for their own Maharishi School are completed and building will begin soon.
