The miracle of the Maharishi Effect

Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, spoke recently about what is now unfolding in the midst of the Invincible America Assembly at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA.

Dr Morris said that as a direct result of this Assembly, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi reminded everyone of the expression in the Yoga Sutras of the Vedic Literature that 'in the vicinity of Yoga, conflicting or diverging tendencies are eliminated'.

It also means, said Dr Morris, 'that when you are next to a thousand or two thousand other Yogic Flyers, when you are in the presence of that power, right in the midst of it, then those tendencies, those outward diverging tendencies, they just melt back into the state of unity....

'The power of experience in the big group ... [expands] exponentially when the group becomes larger and larger—and especially if the great Vedic Pandits of India are in the midst of the group, thrilling the air, with their powerful recitations....

'What a phenomenon this is,' Dr Morris continued, 'when we think, as Maharishi sometimes says, how ridiculously small is 1,800 people, or ... 2,500 people or so, to secure a nation of the power of the United States.... What a knowledge is that, that could make the whole destiny of the nation turn in the direction of all that is in favour of life?

'In New York we can feel it, you can feel it anywhere in the country now. New York used to be a place of great stress and fear, but from the time Maharishi started taking the groups near New York, the tide turned, and now, as people who have lived in New York all their life say, ''It's no longer the old fearful atmosphere, it's like a party, it's like a festival here.''

'Everyone feels very deeply moved by the experience level that has come to them on the Invincible America Assembly ... while they are minding their own business ... just quietly doing their programme [the Transcendental Meditation Programme and its advanced techniques including Yogic Flying] in bliss. ... The whole destiny of the country is being changed, and with it, the bright golden destiny of the human race is dawning.

'This is the miracle of the Maharishi Effect.'
