Poverty removal conference presentation by Dr Benjamin Feldman - Part II
by Global Good News staff writer

7 May 2007
During a global conference on poverty removal held 25 April, 2007, Dr Benjamin Feldman, Minister of Finance and Planning of the Global Country of World Peace, presented the plan of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi for the removal of poverty, which includes programmes in education, healthcare, and the effective use of unused land resources through Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture. Specifically, the plan calls for the implementation of Consciousness-Based Education and invincible Vedic healthcare throughout the world in at least 110 countries in Phase 1, and in the rest of the world in Phase 2.
One of the major goals of the poverty removal programme is to raise currently unused lands with agricultural potential to healthy agricultural production. Furthermore, this can be achieved from the level of self-sufficient knowledge. The programme for Vedic Organic Agriculture will provide people with education, occupational training, healthcare, and good quality housing right from the start. Because of this commitment to improve the quality of life from the very beginning, the Global Country of World Peace is prepared to sustain a loss on the agricultural projects for a period of one to four years while the people are gaining the necessary expertise to practise profitable agriculture. Those governments that are willing to give the land will succeed in eliminating poverty very quickly.
Dr Feldman went on to say that in four years, for example, enough hospitals offering prevention-oriented healthcare could be built to care for the whole world family, and similarly, schools offering Consciousness-Based Education could be started in 110 countries. The first phase of the plan includes building 1,000 schools with 100 students each.
The new Global Development Currency, the Raam Europe, is already legal currency in about eight countries, Dr Feldman said. Germany is an example of a developed country where the Raam is already circulating legally and freely. Through the use of the Raam, every government has the opportunity to start cultivating unused land and building all the schools and hospitals necessary to create invincibility for their country.
