Spain: Progress in creating national invincibility

Raja Antonio Bartolome, leader of Maharishi's Global Country of World Peace for Spain, reported on the fulfilling progress in the creation of invincibility for Spain on 29 January. Raja Antonio's talk was featured on the Global Family Chat, broadcast daily around the world by satellite television and the Internet.

Beginning with the field of education, he described the overwhelming enthusiasm for the tour featuring talks by educator Dr Ashley Deans through the main cities of Spain. Dr Deans is an expert in the administration of Maharishi's Consciousness-Based Education. Tour organizers have been contacting authorities, schools, and universities, and all have been responding positively. In Madrid, one upcoming event proved so popular that it was necessary to reschedule to a larger venue. The Global Country of World Peace has also received invitations from several universities and other institutions requesting Dr Deans to speak.

In the area of city planning, the Global Country of World Peace asked the city council of Zaragoza seven months ago, to give a piece of land that would be suitable for a Maharishi Peace Palace, a beautiful facility that will offer the programmes of Maharishi's Vedic Science and Technology, including group practice of the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi programme. Just days ago, the idea for the project that had been presented to the city council so many months ago was approved by the city of Zaragoza planning department. The city council told the Global Country that they should choose which parcel of land they want. The selection has been made and the procedure is underway.

Raja Antonio concluded that it now looks encouraging that the project of building a Peace Palace will soon be realized. Well-wishers of peace and invincibility have been coming forward to support both this project and the invincibility programme for Spain, which involves Yogic Flying Vedic Pandits coming from India to create coherence in national consciousness.
