1 January 2007
Yesterday, on the third day of the celebration of the birthday anniversary of Maharishi's beloved Master, Shri Guru Dev, Maharishi requested that 16,000 Vedic Pandits be assembled in one place on earth, in the Brahmasthan or centre, of India by Guru Purnima Day at the end of July 2007. From there, permanent Global Raam Raj will be established.
Why 16,000 Vedic Pandits? The reason is that 16,000 is double the square root of one per cent of the population of the world, thus ensuring a safety factor for the Super Radiance number necessary to create world peace. The Vedic Pandits' daily performance of Yoga and Yagyas will produce an indomitable influence of peace and positivity in the whole world, which according to the Vedic Literature will disallow negative or destructive tendencies from arising anywhere on earth.
A golden time is coming for the world, Maharishi said, in which the world be will be ruled by total Natural Law, the total Constitution of the Universe, the Will of God—and that orderly administration we want to have for our whole world family.
Now is the time, Maharishi said, for all the leaders of his worldwide Transcendental Meditation Movement to pledge to accomplish the goal of establishing this holiest of all the holy places in the centre of India.
With this beautiful resolution for the new year, Maharishi entered into seven days of Silence.
