Purusha coming, Pandit update

The Super Radiance number for the U.S. is expected to be reached in the immediate future, as more participants arrive for the Invincible America Assembly.

Last week 72 members of the American Purusha(SM) program who have been in The Netherlands for the last year arrived on campus, and another 25 will arrive soon. The Purusha, who are men who have dedicated themselves to extended practice of the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi® programs, have come here to join the Invincible America Assembly so that the total number of Yogic Flyers will quickly reach and exceed the invincibility number of 1,730.

Currently there are 352 Vedic Pandits on campus, and a total of 1,000 Vedic Pandits are planned to arrive in the near term. As their permanent facility in Maharishi Vedic City is completed, the Vedic Pandits will move to their new accommodations there, freeing up six newly renovated buildings on campus for other University purposes.

In addition, over 350 more people have applied to the Invincible America Assembly from the U.S. and overseas, and record numbers will complete TM-Sidhi program instruction in November and December. At press time the number in group practice was around 1,650.

The Super Radiance number is the square root of 1% of the population. The number for the U.S. is 1,730. When this number of people practice the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi programs in a group, it creates a more coherent national consciousness.
