Today is the 13th day of the seventh month of Dutch national consciousness rising to invincibility, as indicated by the following press reports:

24 October 2007

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Minister of Education van der Hoeven to reward good teaching with more money' - Van der Hoeven announced that rewards for good teaching will not only provide salary increases, but also offer teachers better career prospects. The minister believes that education should operate under the same policies as industry.

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Minister of Foreign Affairs Bot finds US attitude towards Europe more open' - After a meeting with US Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, Minister Bot reported that he found both Rice and the US Government more open. He reported that the US Government seems more responsive to the voices of its own citizens, as well as those from abroad. Nine months ago, this was not the case.

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Finance Minster Zalm to encourage cleaner cars' - Minister Zalm plans to implement financial incentives that will encourage employees who are given vehicles by their employers to select environmentally friendly cars.

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Create opportunities in the neighbourhood for social advance' - Large cities should plan development in such a way that people do not move away as they become wealthy, the press reported. This tendency to move out of one's neighbourhood or to the suburbs after wealth is gained is a loss to the neighbourhood and the city. More attractive opportunities should be created for such families within their community of origin. The press encouraged the construction of beautiful homes and neighbourhoods within big cities.

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Albert Heyn gives Super de Boer Wings' - After announcing the end of the price war, stock prices of some of Albert Heyn's competitors have experienced an unprecedented upswing.

Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Safety high on the international agenda. Government and industry have a higher need for security, creating a growth market with potential for investors, said fund manager Pictet, who introduced a safety themed fund' - Safety and security has become more important and this has created a growing market for investors. Pictet's new safety-themed fund explicitly states that it will not invest in weapons: 'We want to invest in socially responsible means of security and believe strongly that this is the best way to remain successful in the long run.'

De Telegraaf: 'Working at older age should be rewarded fiscally. Chairman Nijpels: Tax benefits for those who delay pension' - Ed Nijpels, chairman of the Study Group Gray Works, says financial rewards are the best, most direct way to address the changing demographics and increasing health of the Dutch population. Pensions should become a right, not a duty, he states.

De Telegraaf: 'Freedom of press is greatest in our country' - A worldwide study conducted by Reporters without Frontiers shows Holland to have the greatest freedom of press, along with Ireland, Iceland, and Finland.

Trouw: 'TV cable open for competition' - This is good news for consumers according to Consumerbond, because competition in the marketplace leads to lower prices and higher quality.

Trouw: 'Building associations to give poor renters discounts on rental costs' - The building corporation Woonbron of Rotterdam will help renters who spend more than 30 per cent of their income on rent. The remainder of the rent will be covered by Woonbron.

Trouw: 'Foundation advises covering over highway A12 - Once again, an initiative to save living areas from the hazards of air pollution from vehicles has been introduced. A group introduced the plan to build a roof to filter the air from the traffic over the A12 near Arnhem. The filtered air would be even cleaner than the air in the environment, the group said. Minister Peijs is seriously considering the proposal.

Creating national invincibility

Groups of experts in Yogic Flying are engaged in creating coherent national consciousness in the Netherlands, United States, Canada, Hamsa (Hungary), and an increasing number of other nations, which are enjoying a dramatic and sustained upsurge in positive economic and social trends.

Dr Paul Gelderloos, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace for the Netherlands, reports that 400 Yogic Flyers have been assembled at MERU, the Netherlands, since 12 April 2006.

Extensive research published in the world's leading scientific journals has found that the group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme Yogic Flying by the square root of one per cent of a population is sufficient to reduce negative trends, including crime and violence, and to promote positive economic and social tendencies throughout society.

The cost to train and employ such a group is a small fraction of what any government spends on its military in a single day.

Maharishi's approach to invincibility is in sharp contrast to the conventional military approach. 'Our approach does not require the government to sacrifice the youth for the sake of the nation—because when the youth are killed in war, then for whom is the nation?' Maharishi said.

The harmony and progress of the human race are founded on the internal harmony and progress of every individual. No stress, no strain, no impediment, no difficulty can withstand the totally benign influence of the enlivenment of the Unified Field of Natural Law, the field of Transcendental Consciousness, the field of pure knowledge, through Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme.
