Today is the 79th day since the start of the Invincible America Course, and there continue to be indications of US national consciousness rising to invincibility, as evidenced by increasingly positive trends in all areas of national life. Previous news reports have highlighted the record-breaking US economic boom since the Course began on 23 July. Here we report on positive new environmental, food, and agricultural trends that have appeared in the last few days.

CNN: Organic food, green products go mainstream — Mr. Lee Scott, the CEO of Wal-Mart, the world's largest retail chain, told CNN yesterday: 'There can't be anything good about putting all these chemicals in the air. There can't be anything good about the smog you see in the cities. Those things are just inherently wrong, whether you are an environmentalist or not.'

The Houston Chronicle: DuPont commits to global sustainability — DuPont Co., a multibillion dollar company, yesterday said it will focus over the next decade on developing environmentally friendly products, using renewable resources, and meeting new pollution-reduction goals.

In the area of diet and healthy food...

USA Today: More university students call for organic, 'sustainable' food

The Chicago Tribune: Tougher junk food rule approved in Illinois — Elementary and middle-school pupils will not be able to buy snacks with high fat, sugar, or calorie content before and during the school day under new state rules.

The rise of coherence in national consciousness is also bringing about greater concerns over genetic engineering...

The Associated Press: California farmers sour on biotech rice

The Washington Post: Monsanto posts bigger loss for 4th quarter — Monsanto, an industry leader in genetically altered crops, posted a bigger-than-expected quarterly loss due to lower revenues from its biotech seed technology.

And finally...

The New York Times: The race to watch: Organic farmer leads race for Iowa secretary of agriculture — Democrat Denise O'Brien is pitted against Republican Bill Northy, a longtime advocate of chemical-based and genetically engineered agriculture, and of high-density factory livestock farming. Unexpectedly, Ms O'Brien currently leads Mr Northy by 7 points.

These are just a few of the news reports reflecting America's rise to invincibility due to the large groups of Yogic Flyers in Maharishi Vedic City and Washington, D.C.

Creating national invincibility

Groups of experts in Yogic Flying are engaged in creating coherent national consciousness in the United States, the Netherlands, Canada, Hamsa (Hungary), and an increasing number of other nations, which are enjoying a dramatic and sustained upsurge in positive economic and social trends.

Extensive research published in the world's leading scientific journals has found that the group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme Yogic Flying by the square root of one per cent of a population is sufficient to reduce negative trends, including crime and violence, and to promote positive economic and social tendencies throughout society.

The cost to train and employ such a group is a small fraction of what any government spends on its military in a single day.

Maharishi's approach to invincibility is in sharp contrast to the conventional military approach. 'Our approach does not require the government to sacrifice the youth for the sake of the nation—because when the youth are killed in war, then for whom is the nation?' Maharishi said.

The harmony and progress of the human race are founded on the internal harmony and progress of every individual. No stress, no strain, no impediment, no difficulty can withstand the totally benign influence of the enlivenment of the Unified Field of Natural Law, the field of Transcendental Consciousness, the field of pure knowledge, through Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme.
