Victory Day is an important celebration in the Vedic calendar, bringing victory and success to one's undertakings. Maharishi Yagyas and auspicious activities are traditionally performed on this day to enliven the transcendental field of life and therefore maximize the influence of this powerful day. On Victory Day this year, new sovereign rulers of the Global Country of World Peace are being coronated in MERU, Holland.

It is significant that Vijaya Dashami—Victory Day follows the Nine Days of Mother Divine. Each of the Nine Days of Mother Divine enlivens one of the nine values of life—the five senses, the mind, intellect, and ego and on the ninth day, the Transcendent.

The Nine Days of Mother Divine then culminate in the tenth lunar day (Dashami), which is celebrated as Victory Day. Victory Day represents the total knowledge of Natural Law which is more than the sum of its parts—the nine aspects. This wholeness of Brahman is the state of fully enlightened consciousness which is more than the relative and absolute put together.

Each year, the Global Country of World Peace conducts global celebrations on the Vedic festival of Victory Day and undertakes highly auspicious activity to utilize the support from Natural Law lively at this time.

This year the new Rajas and Raja Rajeshvaris are being coronated in the special Vedic ceremony of Rajya Bhishek, to enliven the divine qualities of rulership in the physiology of these new sovereign rulers of the Global Country of World Peace, their cabinet members, and the citizens of their domains.

The Coronation of the Rajas of the Global Country of World Peace is to bring invincibility to every nation and permanent world peace for the whole family of nations, with dignity and honour to every nation. These celebrations have been derived from the ancient record of ruling dynasties of the most ideal system of administration of Raam Raj—administration through the Constitution of the Universe, which governs the infinite diversity of the ever-expanding galactic universe.

In a Maharishi Global Press Conference, Maharishi explained the value of the Raja coronation ceremony saying, 'Our training of the Rajas is from that ancient Vedic Tradition, which trains the ruler to be in perfect alliance with the Constitution of the Universe. This coronation ceremony of so many Rajas, that we are performing here in Holland, is to enliven the last strokes of evolved intelligence so that man's awareness rises to welcome and function in full accord with the cosmic law, in full accord with the Constitution of the Universe.'

This ceremony is one of the ways Maharishi has revived the most ideal system of administration, the administration of Raam Raj, whereby the Constitution of the Universe—that organizing power of Nature which governs the entire universe with perfect order—is engaged to administer every area of life of the individual, the nation, and the world.

In his introductory remarks today preceding the coronation, His Excellency Dr Bevan Morris, the Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, described the celebration of Victory Day as the victory of Total Knowledge of Natural Law, the victory of Unity in the field of diversity, the victory of bliss in a world that has been suffering, the victory of peace in a world suffering under conflict, the victory of invincibility for every nation on this earth, the victory of Raam Raj, the victory of Maharishi Vedic Vishwa Prashasanam under the divine leadership of His Majesty Raja Nader Raam—first sovereign ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, the victory of Sat Yuga with the blessings of Guru Dev over Kali Yuga, and the day of victory of Heaven over earth.
