Today is the 3rd day of the sixth month of Dutch national consciousness rising to invincibility, as indicated by the following press reports:

De Telegraaf: 'National neighbourhood day. Dutch want to have more contact with neighbours' - On the 16th of September a National neighbour day will be held in Holland. Seventy-seven per cent of Dutch people polled want to have more contact with their neighbours.

Trouw: 'Optimism about growth' - Eighty per cent of entrepreneurs expect a further improvement of the economic situation in Holland. Research Bureau EIM predicts this year's revenue growth at 3%, and 3.25% for 2007.

Trouw: 'Convincing recovery in Europe' - All European indices showed a convincing recovery.

Trouw: 'Amsterdam project has a surplus of volunteers. Against the national trend, Amsterdam has a surplus of volunteers who want to mentor a young person who has difficulty with school, or problems with finding a job' - There is a waiting list of more than 400 volunteers. Currently, they are looking for young people who need mentors.

Trouw: 'Most expensive Dutch film production to 50 countries' - 'Blackbook', the new film of director Paul Verhoeven, has received wide acclaim, and is already distributed to 50 countries.

Trouw: 'The personal coach comes through, because we do not accept setbacks anymore. Good enough is not sufficient, our life needs to be perfect' - A personal assistant, coach, trainer, and/or shopper is the new trend in Holland. People want the best out of life, and are ready to pay for it.

Trouw: 'Paris gets enormous Dutch fibre optic network. Dutch cable producer Draka may deliver 2 million kilometre of glass fibre for a modern telecom net in Paris' - This will be the largest-ever project in Europe, with one million households eventually connected.

Creating national invincibility

Groups of experts in Yogic Flying are engaged in creating coherent national consciousness in the Netherlands, United States, Canada, Hamsa (Hungary), and an increasing number of other nations, which are enjoying a dramatic and sustained upsurge in positive economic and social trends.

Dr Paul Gelderloos, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace for the Netherlands, reports that 400 Yogic Flyers have been assembled at MERU, the Netherlands, since 12 April 2006.

Extensive research published in the world's leading scientific journals has found that the group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme Yogic Flying by the square root of one per cent of a population is sufficient to reduce negative trends, including crime and violence, and to promote positive economic and social tendencies throughout society.

The cost to train and employ such a group is a small fraction of what any government spends on its military in a single day.

Maharishi's approach to invincibility is in sharp contrast to the conventional military approach. 'Our approach does not require the government to sacrifice the youth for the sake of the nation—because when the youth are killed in war, then for whom is the nation?' Maharishi said.
