Today is the 18th day of the fifth month of Dutch national consciousness rising to invincibility, as indicated by the following press reports:
Het Financieele Dagblad: 'Export as well as transit in lift' - Export of Holland produced goods rose 3.5% in volume, and 9% in price in the first six months of the year, as compared to last year. Transit of goods that are produced elsewhere, mainly China, Taiwan, and the US, make up 40% of total Dutch export. The transit part of the export is also booming, 13% higher in volume, and 2% higher in price.
De Telegraaf: 'Full-time job less full these days' - A full-time job is 1720 hours per year. Fifty years ago a full-time job was 2280 hours, a difference of 25%. Thus people not only work, but also have time to enjoy life.
De Telegraaf: 'Millions for problem neighbourhood' - Amsterdam receives €2 million to improve the quality of life and safety in two neighbourhoods. The money will be used for house-to-house projects. People with excessive debt, unemployment, and integration problems will receive help.
De Telegraaf: 'Tourist gets VAT back sooner' - The threshold for receiving VAT back for tourists from outside the EU will be lowered from €137 per day to €50 per day. This will lead to more tourists spending, according to Global Refund, who lobbied this proposal successfully.
Trouw: 'Beta disciplines more popular' - Technical studies and universities have attracted 4% more students this year, much higher than the average 2.5%. Industry recently complained that they needed more professionals in their area.
Creating national invincibility
Groups of experts in Yogic Flying are engaged in creating coherent national consciousness in the Netherlands, United States, Canada, Hamsa (Hungary), and an increasing number of other nations, which are enjoying a dramatic and sustained upsurge in positive economic and social trends.
Dr Paul Gelderloos, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace for the Netherlands, reports that 400 Yogic Flyers have been assembled at MERU, the Netherlands, since 12 April 2006.
Extensive research published in the world's leading scientific journals has found that the group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme Yogic Flying by the square root of one per cent of a population is sufficient to reduce negative trends, including crime and violence, and to promote positive economic and social tendencies throughout society.
The cost to train and employ such a group is a small fraction of what any government spends on its military in a single day.
Maharishi's approach to invincibility is in sharp contrast to the conventional military approach. 'Our approach does not require the government to sacrifice the youth for the sake of the nation-because when the youth are killed in war, then for whom is the nation?' Maharishi said.
The harmony and progress of the human race is founded on the internal harmony and progress of every individual. No stress, no strain, no impediment, no difficulty can withstand the totally benign influence of the enlivenment of the Unified Field of Natural Law, the field of Transcendental Consciousness, the field of pure knowledge, through Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme.
