The Claes family is well known for being extremely successful in the fields of education, business, building, and computers. Under their guidance, land is being purchased near the NATO Headquarters in Brussels for one-hundred and fifty Yogic Flyers. Maharishi commented that the success of this project will be based on how long it takes for NATO to leave the nation.

Group Programmes for Sidhas in Brussels

With the success of the inauguration of the first Maharishi Sthapatya Vedic building in Belgium on 30 March 2006, members of the Global country of World Peace in Belgium were motivated immediately to obtain land for two hundred Yogic Flyers. Almost instantaneously, a 80 sq m floor space and 400 sq me (4000 sq ft) total surface with a perfect east entrance was found in the heart of Brussels, right next to the European Parliament, the European Commission Building, and the Belgium Parliament. The building was purchased, and within three days group practice of the TM-Sidhi Programmes began in Brussels. Already 25 practicioners have signed up for group programme. Group programmes are also being organized for those practising the TM-Sidhi Programme not living in Brussels, but who commute into the city for work.

Maharishi inspires the establishment of a University of World Peace by September

A building has been located in Brussels right across the street from the European Parliament Building, with the intended goal of establishing a Consciousness-Based Educational school by this September. With the purchase of this building, classes will be able to begin at the start of the next school year.

Also, a perfectly oriented Sthapatya Veda building site has been located just to the north of Brussels. If purchased, this site would become the ideal vastu for a Maharishi Vedic School. When Joachim Claes, the Vastu Director for Belgium, discovered that the desired land was in fact owned by the city of Brussels, he immediately spoke directly with the head of the Brussel's educational department. Not only was the Educational Director extremely inquisitive and receptive to Joachim's plans for the site, but he also requested that a project be spearheaded to introduce Transcendental Mediation into the already established state-run schools, without delay.

A Peace Colony to be developed in Merilles

Beginning 20 May 2006, the first 'Vastu Weekend' was hosted by Stijn Vandenbosch, Ger Lieven, and Alberto Castano in Antwerp, Belgium. During the weekend, two hectres of land were found in Marilles—a small town approximately 17 km from the Belgium Brahmastan. Of the 2 hectres of land, one hectre has already been purchased, this is where the first Vastu house has been inaugurated, and one hectre is still for sale. Alberto Castano is designing a project to establish and develop a Peace Colony for 50 families who practise Maharishi's TM-Sidhi Programme.

Members of the Global Country of World Peace in Belgium are also planning to purchase the true Brahmastan of Belgium in order to safely secure the country's permanent invincibility.
