On 29 August 2005 Cape Argus reported:
His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi warns counties to examine the layout of their government buildings if they are experiencing problems within their government. The South African newspaper is the latest media outlet to share Maharishi's warnings; other articles have appeared recently in India and the United States.
It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring
fulfilment to the field of world peace.
Reporter John Yeld quoted Maharishi as saying, 'A proper entrance to the east will bring harmony and success to the government, but an improper entrance to the south or west will be the unseen cause of a great deal of governmental problems, unrest and failures.'
The article noted that Maharishi recommended that buildings with improper orientation be torn down and rebuilt according to the principles of Vedic knowledge of architecture in harmony with Natural Laws.
He went on to observe that Nelson Mandela's success could be linked to the fact that parliament and Mandela's home office both face east.
Every day Global Good News documents the rise of a better quality of life dawning in the world and highlights the need for introducing Natural Law based—Total
Knowledge based—programmes to bring the support of Nature to every individual, raise the quality of life of every society, and create a lasting state of world peace.
