This Tuesday morning, 5 December, the School of International Service (SIS) at American University in Washington, DC, will be the venue for 'A New Science for Peace: Research on Meditation, the Brain, Trauma, and Peace'. The panel will be hosted by the Abramson Center for Peace and the David Lynch Foundation.

A select group of leaders in the Washington region will explore the impact of 40 years of published research and clinical applications of the Transcendental Meditation (TM) technique—in improving health and reducing PTSD symptoms in high-risk populations, as well as reducing trauma, crime, and violence in society as a whole.

Candy Crowley, former anchor of CNN's ''State of the Nation with Candy Crowley,'' will serve as moderator.

There is no fee to attend. Click here for more information and to RSVP.
