From time to time Maharishi Vastu Architecture features short summaries of new Maharishi Vastu building projects around the globe.
Two recently completed homes are similar in size but not in style demonstrating that Maharishi Vastu architecture is adaptable to just about any style of design. The first is in southeastern Poland, near the city of Rzeszow.
It is a lovely two-story home of 360 square meters (3,900 square feet) in the traditional Polish mansion style. The thick, brick-walled home was inaugurated on Poland's independence day in 2015 and was designed by one of our new Vastu architects, Andrzej Baran.
The second home is in upstate Pennsylvania, USA, on a lovely estate in the country. The owners have built three other Maharishi Vastu buildings on this property over the last ten years prior to the completion of this, the main house, at the end of January. The first structure was an apartment, then a barn, and then another outbuilding. The gardens of this gorgeous property were featured in one of the earlier issues.
The main house has a stone- and lap-siding exterior and features several covered porches and balconies for enjoying the views of gentle rolling hills.
As in many larger Vastu homes, this and the Polish house have a windowed cupola over the Brahmasthan area [central silent core of wholeness] to allow light to penetrate deeply into the house on both levels and air to circulate from the roof down to the main floor.
