Connecting Maharishi's programmes with a global audience through advanced telecommunications technology

'Maharishi's message comes via TelePresence', writes a business magazine in Holland that reaches thousands of people—commenting on the advanced telecommunications system used by the Global Country of World Peace to bring Maharishi's knowledge and programmes to people in every nation.
In an interview recently published in the magazine, Dr Benjamin Feldman, Minister of Finance and Planning for the Global Country of World Peace, explained that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, was very interested in the TelePresence technology.
First introduced in 2006, Cisco TelePresence combines high quality, two-way video and audio and a setup designed to link two physically separated rooms so they resemble a single conference room—even though the two rooms may be on opposite sides of the world.
Dr Feldman explained that Maharishi inspired the expansion of the Telepresence system so that a conference could simultaneously be broadcast through the Internet and via video to all parts of the world. 'These', Dr Feldman said, 'were all special developments made by our own people.'
Using the latest technology and best communication methods available was very much in the tradition of Maharishi's worldwide Transcendental Meditation organizations, Dr Feldman said.
In order to bring Maharishi's message to the world, they have always used the most modern communication means; and many years ago were the first to start the very large-scale use of video cassettes.
Global Good News will feature a second article about this interview with Dr Benjamin Feldman in the coming days.
