Maharishi University of Management in the USA is launching a new Master of Science in Maharishi AyurVeda and Integrative Medicine that will be offered online to health professionals as well as health educators with a background in the health sciences. The three-year, part-time curriculum is oriented towards doctors, nurses, medical students, and health coaches who want to add the burgeoning field of integrative medicine to their practices.

The three-year online program includes video lessons by MUM faculty, medical doctors, and Vaidyas (Ayurvedic experts), as well as regular webinars, discussion groups, and exercises. Once a year, participants will attend week-long intensive clinical training on the MUM campus in Fairfield, Iowa.

The inaugural class of students will begin this fall. Financial aid is available for the program. For more information visit www.mum.edu/physiology.

AyurVeda, or ''Science of Life'', is the world's oldest and most complete system of natural health care. Maharishi AyurVeda is a comprehensive, prevention-oriented approach to health care based on Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's revival of AyurVeda, the traditional system of natural medicine in India. Maharishi Ayurveda incorporates a wide range of procedures for the prevention and treatment of disease, and deals holistically with consciousness, physiology, psychology, behavior, and environment.
