New course - 'Healthy, Happy Mother and Baby' - draws on traditional and modern health professionals' expertise

Part I of the new three-part course, 'Healthy, Happy Mother and Baby'—in the Maharishi Ayurveda Family Health Series—has just concluded in the Netherlands. In addition to Charlotte Bech, M.D., and Dr. phil. Karin Pirc—eminent physicians leading the course—the entire programme has drawn on a wide range of expertise among both traditional and modern health professionals, to offer the time-tested knowledge of Maharishi Ayurveda health care in the context of mother and baby care.

The course administrators acknowledge other specialists, doctors, and health professionals who have contributed greatly to the creation of the Mother and Baby course:

∙ Dr Sophie Beall, Pediatrician, Family Medicine and Public Health; Medical Director of the Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centre in Seelisberg, Switzerland;
∙ Dr Maiu Plado, Medical Doctor, Estonia, specializing in research in consciousness through Maharishi's Vedic Science and Technology of Consciousness;
∙ Dr Lorenza Ghargetti, Pediatrician, an expert in high risk newborns and prenatal care, Italy;
∙ Dr Rosie Geelvink, Director of the Department of Maharishi Aromatherapy, Maharishi College of Perfect Health, the Netherlands; and
∙ Margaret Mullins, MSN, Certified Pediatric and Family Nurse Practitioner, USA.
