Pirc Clinic Consulting offers services to start-up Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centres

Mr Lothar Pirc, the founder and managing director of the award-winning Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centre in Bad Ems, Germany, has created an Ayurveda consulting firm in response to a worldwide increase in demand for alternative medicine and Ayurvedic treatments.

Mr Pirc recently explained that Pirc Clinic Consulting was started 'to help everyone around the world who is interested in starting up a Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centre'.

Mr Pirc was requested by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi many years ago to open or help open Maharishi Ayurveda clinics all around the world. 'And I think it is not necessary to learn by mistakes,' Mr Pirc said.

With this approach, he created Pirc Clinic Consulting. Their website states that the firm offers comprehensive services to assist in the development and management of a Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centre (MAVHC). With twenty years of experience, expertise and leadership in the founding, development and management of Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centres around the world, Pirc Clinic Consulting can provide the support needed to establish and successfully run a MAVHC in the partner's country.

The consulting firm offers support in eleven areas, including project development, equipment and furniture, operating concept and structure, and ongoing management and developing consulting.

In addition, Pirc Clinic Consulting can advise on architectural concepts, including how the clinic should be laid out; on the compilation of a business plan which takes tourism developments and local grants that may be available in the country into consideration; and in working with local architects and suppliers to determine the investment cost.

The group will also investigate feasibility calculation, including precise calculation of costs, based on their many years of experience. They also provide assistance in marketing, including support in every area, including: internet, films, brochures, pictures, and public relations activities.

Pirc Clinic Consulting can also help with training for start-up and operation. Mr Pirc said, 'We have worked out very detailed job descriptions for guest services, for the kitchen, for all the different departments involved in running a clinic, with checklists and manuals, so that the whole operation will be very smooth right from the beginning.'

He added that potential partners can take advantage of all these services or simply choose a few with which they need help.
