David George, a veteran of the Iraq war, was injured in a car bombing and suffered through the debilitating symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) after his return to the United States. Through learning the Transcendental Meditation technique, David was able to regain his life.
''I lost myself in that car bombing. It left a hole in the ground about 3 feet deep. And it left a hole in me,'' David says. ''I learned Transcendental Meditation and that hole got filled a little bit with hope.''
''I hope we get to all the veterans,'' David says, ''so they can get the same opportunity to work on themselves and make something great with their life.''
