Expert Dr Ulrich Bauhofer gains recognition for Maharishi Ayurveda in Germany

Dr Ulrich Bauhofer is rapidly gaining recognition as a preeminent Ayurvedic specialist all across Germany. Recently he was interviewed by the famous fashion and lifestyle magazine, Elle Germany, as well as for a health programme on Bavarian Television.

Dr Bauhofer is an author and a medical doctor. He is considered one of the world's leading experts in Ayurvedic medicine, specializing in Maharishi Ayurveda. Ayurveda is a holistic approach to medicine and the term can be translated as the complete knowledge of the totality and longevity of life. Maharishi Ayurveda represents the purest and most complete understanding of the ancient Vedic texts that form the basis of this healing practice.

Naturally, Maharishi Ayurveda was the main subject of Dr Bauhofer's interview with the chief editor of Elle Germany.

He was also interviewed for a health programme by Bavarian Television. In the interview, Dr Bauhofer again talked about Maharishi Ayurveda and about the healthy benefits of the Transcendental Meditation Technique. According to Dr Eckart Stein, a leading Transcendental Meditation teacher in Germany, on the show Dr Bauhofer was acclaimed as being 'the best doctor you can get in Germany who is knowledgeable about Ayurveda'. The programme also suggested that Dr Bauhofer is 'the top specialist in meditation'.

Dr Stein later remarked that this very popular interview for Bavarian Television boosted interest in the German Transcendental Meditation website and became a popular video on YouTube. As a result, many people in Munich were inspired to learn more about Maharishi Ayurveda and the Transcendental Meditation Programme.
